Qualifying for a HELOC
You must meet certain conditions to apply for HELOC. Your home must have available equity and the loan amount must be less than the value of the home. HELOC's interest rates are variable

HELOC will lend you a certain amount and you have to repay it within a certain period. You will need to pay the minimum amount each month, which will include both principal and interest. This amount may change due to variable interest rates. You will be able to pay the arrears by paying extra if you want and that too will change.
